Smoky quartz is regular quartz tinted brown by natural radiation in the rock over a very long time. This is our light A grade: clear and see-through, with a soft caramel tone. It's polished into a six-sided generator with a flat base, so it stands up on its own.

Smoky quartz is traditionally linked with grounding and letting go. The light version feels gentle and warm rather than dark and moody. People like it on desks, in crystal grids and anywhere they want a calm, earthy accent.

How to use it

• Use it as the centre of a crystal grid
• Stand it on your desk as a grounding cue
• Put it in a window to catch warm light
• Pair it with clear quartz for contrast

Care: Rinse it in plain water or wipe with a soft cloth, and set it down gently so the point doesn't chip.
