Commonwealth Peak Mountain Necklace
Commonwealth Peak Mountain Necklace

A sterling silver mountain necklace with a quiet, handmade feel and an adjustable rhodium chain.

Mackenzie Jones makes this Commonwealth Peak Mountain Necklace by hand in Calgary, Canada. It features the coordinates for a peak in Peter Lougheed Provincial Park, with a slim sterling silver pendant that keeps the look simple and easy to wear. Nice for everyday outfits, with a little Alberta mountain magic baked in.

The rhodium chain adjusts at 16, 18, and 20 inches, so it sits where you like it. Because each piece is handcrafted from scratch, the shape and texture may vary a bit. That is part of the charm, really.

About Mackenzie Jones

Megan Mackenzie Jones studied Jewellery + Metals at the Alberta College of Art + Design, then built her studio in a basement while working as a landscaper. The first piece that took off was a ring shaped like a mountain range, made to carry a feeling of home around with you. Today a team of women casts every piece in house, mostly in recycled silver sourced in North America.

Why it's in our Collective: We are a rock shop. Mackenzie Jones makes jewellery out of mountains: real Canadian peaks, cast in silver and small enough to wear every day. It sits beautifully next to a crystal pendant, and it's made by hand in Alberta.
