This Cascade Mountain Necklace from Mackenzie Jones is handmade in Calgary from sterling silver. It takes its name from the peaks around Banff National Park and has that quiet, familiar mountain shape people love. The pendant is finished for everyday wear and is nickel free.

The rhodium chain adjusts at 16, 18, and 20 inches, so it is easy to wear on its own or layered up. Because each piece is made by hand, the shape and texture can vary a little. A small part of each purchase also supports the Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary.

About Mackenzie Jones

Megan Mackenzie Jones studied Jewellery + Metals at the Alberta College of Art + Design, then built her studio in a basement while working as a landscaper. The first piece that took off was a ring shaped like a mountain range, made to carry a feeling of home around with you. Today a team of women casts every piece in house, mostly in recycled silver sourced in North America.

Why it's in our Collective: We are a rock shop. Mackenzie Jones makes jewellery out of mountains: real Canadian peaks, cast in silver and small enough to wear every day. It sits beautifully next to a crystal pendant, and it's made by hand in Alberta.
