Bigger bowl, deeper voice, same black-and-gold drama.
This is a brass singing bowl painted black outside, with gold patterns and a bright brass rim. Designs vary from bowl to bowl, from mantras and figures to mandalas. It comes with a wooden mallet wrapped in soft red padding.
This larger size gives a lower, longer ring than the small black bowls. It's still easy to play, so beginners do well with it. People love it for group meditation or to mark the start of a quiet hour.
What's in the box
- Painted brass bowl
- Padded wooden mallet
How to use it
- Rest it on a cushion or your flat palm
- Tap the side gently for a bright ring
- Circle the rim slowly with the mallet to make it sing
- Let the sound fade out completely before the next note
Care: Wipe with a soft dry cloth, and avoid scrubbing the painted surface.
