The Stawamus Chief Mountain Necklace by Mackenzie Jones is handcrafted from scratch in Calgary, Canada. It’s made from sterling silver and finished for everyday wear, with a shape inspired by the mountains near Squamish. Each one has its own little variations, since it’s handmade.

It comes on a rhodium chain that adjusts at 16, 18, and 20 inches, so it’s easy to wear your way. The pendant measures about 22.50 mm wide, 7.20 mm high, and 2.00 mm thick. A simple, thoughtful piece with a bit of mountain spirit.

About Mackenzie Jones

Megan Mackenzie Jones studied Jewellery + Metals at the Alberta College of Art + Design, then built her studio in a basement while working as a landscaper. The first piece that took off was a ring shaped like a mountain range, made to carry a feeling of home around with you. Today a team of women casts every piece in house, mostly in recycled silver sourced in North America.

Why it's in our Collective: We are a rock shop. Mackenzie Jones makes jewellery out of mountains: real Canadian peaks, cast in silver and small enough to wear every day. It sits beautifully next to a crystal pendant, and it's made by hand in Alberta.
