This is a pearl-like crystalline gypsum mineral from Morocco and has a maximum length of 19” inches! Imperfections, such as various mineral deposits may appear as coloured portions or different crystalline formations that glitter and reflect light on a series of ridges and marks running along its length. Because of the delicate flaky quality of selenite, some loose fragments should be expected to detach when handled.
