Elestial quartz looks like a crystal built from stacked little crystals, often smoky or purple. Here you'll find clusters, inclusion specimens and big statement pieces.
The basics
It's regular quartz with an unusual growth story. When a crystal grows fast, the edges build up quicker than the middle of each face.
That leaves stepped, etched faces and layers of tiny points, sometimes with bits of other minerals trapped inside. Geologists call this skeletal growth. It's also sold as jacare quartz.

Elestial quartz is natural quartz. "Elestial" is a trade name for its shape, not a different stone, so it comes in clear, smoky and amethyst colours. Some smoky quartz on the market is irradiated to darken it. If a piece of ours were ever treated, the title would say so.
