Resin Incense - Palo Santo

This organic pesticide/herbicide-free resin is sustainably grown and processed in Ontario, Canada.

When the resin is burnt, it produces a herb scent that removes the toxic energy from your personal environment.

This Palo Santo resin can be burned by itself, as well as with Palo Santo wood, or mixed with other smudging herbs. The smell of palo santo is usually described as a bright, sweet, piney, lemony, woodsy scent. Perhaps a bit musky. It’s very much unlike any other aromatic wood available.

When mixed, it acts as a flammable wax, keeping the herbs burning longer and releasing intensely aromatic waves of Palo Santo fragrance. the resin produces a fresh aromatic scent. Its purifying, grounding effects may help promote feelings of tranquility and peace. It mixes well with substances such as copal, frankincense, lavender, myrrh and sandalwood.

To burn natural resins you need an incense burner, a quick-light charcoal tab, a pair of tongs, and a lighter or a match.

Step 1: Start by inserting a charcoal tab into the incense burner. Place a flame next to the charcoal tab. Step 2: When the sparks have traveled through the charcoal tab, the tab is fully lit. Step 3: When the charcoal is fully lit, grey-ashy soot will form on top of the red-hot, burning tab. Step 4: The charcoal tab is now ready for use. Using a tiny spoon, spread the natural resins on top of the charcoal tab and enjoy the distinctive smell generated by the natural resins.
