Amazonite is a fairly rare variation of microcline feldspar that is prized for its blue-green colour. It is named after the Amazon River in Brazil. The specimen for sale is triangular-shaped but still amorphous overall, with a flat cut base for it to sit comfortably on.
There are also some white and clear crystal inclusions shown around the piece. This is a very nice amazonite stone and a magnificent specimen to have for display. Note: This product is fairly brittle and must be handled with care.
